Who We Are
Victor Caylor
Owner/Instructor, U.S. Air Force Veteran
Victor is one of the owners here at Surtr Forge. He is a patient and talented blacksmith. He specializes in small knives and challenging knife styles. He's strange, but we claim him anyway. In his free time, Vic is an avid gamer, especially Minecraft.
Sabrina Caylor
Owner/Business Manager
Sabrina runs the behind the scenes of the business, but will occasionally make an appearance with new jewelry items or other handcrafted goodies. In her free time she enjoys reading and gaming. She is passionate about her family and dogs.
Jesus Caylor
Owner/Head Instructor
Jesus is part owner and the head instructor at Surtr Forge. He is also the guy professional knife makers seek to sharpen their knives. He is known for sharpening a blade so well it cut clean through a leather sheath as it slid into place. Jesus is also an avid gamer, with a strong love of the fantasy genre. He is a family guy through and through.
Nate Healy
Owner/Instructor, U.S. Marine Veteran
Nate has been blacksmithing with us for five years now and has recently stepped into an ownership position at Surtr Forge. He specializes in Japanese inspired blades. When he's not forging in the back, he daylights as an electrician. But you can also find him outdoors hiking with Kona, his dog.
Chad Caylor Jr.
Instructor, U.S. Marine Veteran
Jr has rejoined the Surtr Forge family after serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. He specializes in fantasy knives and curvy knife styles. His interest in blacksmithing after he graduated high school became infectious and passed to the whole Caylor family.
Kari Snow
Owner/Jewelry Maker
Kari has been with the forge for four years now and has stepped into an ownership position here at Surtr Forge. She is currently only at the forge part-time as she works as a CNA and photographer full time. Her favorite outdoor pass time is hiking and her favorite indoor pass time is crocheting/painting. You may not see here all the time, but her work is on display at the shop under the name Kurry Creates.
